Fortnite: Where to Collect Books from Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands Locations

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Here’s the location where you can find and collect books from Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands.

We’re already onto week 7 of Fortnite chapter 2 season 5. The season is expected to end on March 15th, and we finally have teasers regarding the secret skin for the season. Three cosmetics were made available in the mystery section of the Battle Pass. Players need to complete three challenges to unlock Predator Fortnite cosmetics.

The three cosmetics are a banner, emoticon, and spray. Here are the challenges that were unlocked yesterday:

The secret skin for season 5 is all but confirmed to be Predator. It’s likely the skin will be available to unlock next week once the next set of Jungle Hunter challenges unlock. There’s also two different skin styles, one with the mask removed from the skin. Based on leaks, it’s likely the skin style can be unlocked by completing one of the Predator challenges.

We also have the normal weekly challenges releasing soon. One of the challenges requires players to collect books from Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands. Here’s the locations of where you can collect the Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands books.

Where to find and Collect Books from Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands

We’re writing this guide prior to the challenge releasing, so if there’s any changes to the collect books challenge, we’ll update the guide as soon as possible. You will have to collect books from Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands, you won’t find all the books in one location.

Collect Books from Holly Hedges Fortnite Locations

You’ll find the first book at Holly Hedges in the tallest house at the location that’s located on the south-east side. Walk through the front door, head through the left door and you’ll find a book on the floor by the fireplace.

Head back out the front door and run towards your left. The next book will be located in the house with the double garage doors.

Walk through the front door and go right past the kitchen. The room to the right to the kitchen as you walk in will have a book in the corner by the window as shown below.

Once again, head back out the front door and go right to yellow house that’s on the north-west side of the location.

As soon as you walk in, you’ll see the book on the floor next to the bookshelf that’s on the left.

Here’s the map locations of all three thanks to randomChievos:

Here’s where you can find and collect books from Sweaty Sands:

  • First single story house house on the east side of Sweaty Sands. Head into the left door and you’ll find a book on the floor by the bookshelf.
  • The Green bottom, brown top house in between the kitchen counter and the bed.
  • The largest building in Sweaty Sands on the bottom floor by the bookshelf that’s near the front desk.

Fortnite Crew: How to Get the ‘Members Only’ Exclusive Emote

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Fortnite Crew members can get their hands on the free ‘Members Only’ exclusive emote.

Epic Games announced the Fortnite Crew monthly subscription before the start of the season. The first crew membership pack provided players with 1,000 V-Bucks, the season 5 Battle Pass, Galaxia outfit, Llamacorn pickaxe, and the Fractured World back bling.

The latest pack for January provides players with the DC Green Arrow skin along with the Tactical Quiver back bling and Boxing Glove pickaxe. This months Fortnite crew pack has caused a number of issues.

Players were being granted the Green Arrow skin almost two weeks before it was officially released. Epic then removed the skin and provided the players that accidentally got the skin with free V-Bucks. Since then, there have been issues with players not getting their 1,000 V-Bucks from their subscription, or players not being able to sign up or continue their subscription.

In a new blog post, Epic Games are discussing the status of the Fortnite Crew subscription and what’s next.

Free Members Only Fortnite Emote and How to Get it

In the blog post, Epic Games acknowledged that some players had issues receiving their Fortnite Crew rewards. As a way to make up for the issues, Epic are provided all Fortnite Crew members with an exclusive free new emote called Members Only.

In order to get the new Members Only Fortnite emote, all you need to do is log in to Fortnite anytime from now until February 15th, 2021. Here’s a look at the emote.

Epic have mentioned that it may take up to 48 hours for the emote to appear in a players lock, so if you don’t receive it as soon as you log in, wait 48 hours.

Epic ended the blog post by providing a hint at what will be in the February Fortnite Crew pack. They weren’t ready to announce who will be in the pack, but they did state it’ll be a new face from the world of Fortnite and included a fox emoji. At least we won’t get complaints that the skin is part of a collaboration!

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Epic Games have released a new Fortnite update today (v3.00 on PS4) on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

We got our first major Fortnite update of the year yesterday after almost an entire month with any new content. The v15.20 Fortnite update brought a new shotgun to the game, the Lever Action Shotgun, along with the hop rocks dualies exotic weapon.

Yesterday’s update also introduced new challenges to the game. The mystery section of the Battle Pass is now home to the Jungle Hunter challenges and rewards. There are currently three free cosmetics available with each being unlocked once a challenge has been completed.

All of the cosmetics are for Predator which all but confirms Predator will be the Fortnite season 5 secret skin. One of the challenges requires players to ‘find mysterious pod’ which unlocks the Predator banner. Epic later put out a teaser tweet for the upcoming Predator skin which you can check out below.

Although there were some nice additions with the Fortnite update yesterday, there were some stability and crashing issues after the update went live. Epic Games have now pushed out another update to address these issues.

New Fortnite Update Today (v3.00)

PS4 players woke up to v3.00 for Fortnite today. Today’s new Fortnite update unfortunately  brings no new content with it. The update is a maintenance patch that’s been pushed out to PS4, XB1, and PC players.

The update only addresses stability issues on consoles along with the crash issue on PC that required players to verify their Fortnite files in order to temporarily address the issue whilst Epic worked on a fix.

Although there’s no new content today, we could see a new item or map location added next week as the v15.21 update has been added to the staging servers. The update will likely add the Predator skin to the files ready for it’s release along with add them as an NPC near Stealthy Stronghold.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Week 7 All XP Coins Locations (Green, Blue, Purple & Gold)

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Here’s all Fortnite chapter 2 season 5 week 7 xp coins on the map.

In previous Fortnite chapter 2 seasons, we’ve had XP coins at the start of the season. However, gold coins have usually come in a few weeks after the season has started. We’ve not had any XP coins in Fortnite chapter 2 season 5 yet, but we have been tasked with burying a blue coin in Pleasant Park.

We’ve also had the chance to level up by completing the Operation Snowdown challenges as well as completing the common, rare, epic, and legendary quests. However, players have been waiting for xp coins to be added back into the game since it was leaked that they would eventually make a return in season 5.

In yesterday’s v15.20 Fortnite update, Epic Games finally added XP coins in Fortnite season 5 for week 7. For Fortnite week 7, we have one four green xp coins, three blue xp coins, two purple xp coins, and one gold xp coin.

We have a slight change to the blue xp coins this season. Players no longer need to destroy an object in order to see and collect the coin. Apart from that, the coins will work as they have done in previous seasons.

Fortnite Week 7 XP Coins Season 5 All Locations

Epic Games have decide to place all the blue xp coins in water this week and place the purple xp coins on mountains or hills.

The gold xp for this week is located next to the Razor Crest which you can find near the middle of the map in the sand biome. The green coins are scattered across the left side of the map with three of them close to the edges of the map.

Here’s a map with all the Fortnite week 7 XP coin located in season 5 thanks to Twitter user Iannzits:
