Fortnite Galactus Event: Jet packs confirmed for live event

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Epic Games have teased jet packs will be in the Galactus Fortnite live event.

The Galactus Fortnite event is 5 days away with the live event taking place on Tuesday, December 1st at 4 PM ET. We’ve seen a couple of teasers posted on the official Fortnite social media account including inside the upgraded battle bus.

The Battle Bus has slowly been upgraded since the start of the season. After the v14.60 Fortnite update last week, the Battle Bus was fully upgraded and ready to help battle Galactus. Here’s a look at the inside of the battle bus.

A couple of data-miners managed to get their hands on the AES key after the v14.60 update which allowed them to decrypt the Fortnite Galactus event files and see what would take place in the live event.

However, they opted not to put the key to use and Epic have since changed the key, so no other data-miners will be able to access the event files. However, there have been a few leaks since the v14.50 update.

Fortnite Black Hole

One of the leaks suggests that there will be downtime similar to the black hole whereby players won’t be able to play the game after the event. However, the downtime after the live event won’t be anywhere near as long as the black hole with Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 launching a day later.

One of the other leaks was that everyone lucky enough to get into a lobby and witness the Galactus live event will get their own jet pack. Epic have confirmed this in a social media post with a fighting Galactus tip. The tip is “don’t forget your jet pack”. This is the image that accompanied the tip.

The Stark Industries jet pack was added to the game a couple of updates ago. The last time jet packs were in Fortnite was back in chapter 1.

For those that missed out previous article, the file size for the Galactus Fortnite event is much larger than all the previous Fortnite live events. We’re looking at a file size more than eight times larger than the Travis Scott event.

Leaks suggest the event will last around nine minutes, but it looks like this will be the most action packed Fortnite event we’ve ever seen. Remember, Epic Games put out a blog post for the Galactus Fortnite event urging users to log in to Fortnite sixty minutes before the event takes place.

The Devourer of Worlds Nexus War event playlist will be available thirty minutes before the scheduled event time. Be sure to log in as early as possible to avoid any disappointment. We can guarantee this will be worth the wait!

Fortnite: How to Deliver a Semi Truck from outside Upstate New York to Stark Industries

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Here’s how and where to delivery a semi truck from outside Upstate New York to Stark Industries.

It’s the final week of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4. It’s been a solid season from Epic and we still have the live event yet to come which takes place on Tuesday, December 1st. The final set of challenges for the season have released, XP Xtravaganza week 4.

One of the challenges requires players to deliver a semi truck from outside Upstate New York to Stark Industries. If you’re not sure how to complete this challenge, we’ve got you covered with a quick and easy guide.

How to Deliver a Semi Truck from outside Upstate New York to Stark Industries

Upstate New York is all of the location outside of the main Stark Industries named location. Once you’re away from the buildings near Stark Industries, the rest of it is Upstate New York.

You can almost always find yourself a semi truck just outside of Upstate New York on the west side of the season 4 location on a bridge. Here’s where you’ll want to drop to get a semi truck:

Here’s another two locations:

NOTE: You must complete this in team rumble. It seems all the semi trucks in normal game modes have the tyres clamped on the semi trucks.

As the location is far lower than the actual Upstate New York and Stark Industries locations, drive up north until you see the locations ground match up with the rest of the Fortnite map.

You’ll then want to simply drive up to the part of the location that is laballed with “Stark Industries”. You can drive up to any of the buildings in Stark Industries in order to complete the challenge.

You’ll get a notification once the challenge has completed, so keep driving through Stark Industries until the challenge complete.

This challenge seems to be for part of the storyline for the live event that takes place next week. The Battle Bus has already been fully upgraded and ready to help in the fight to defeat Galactus. We had similar overtime challenges in season 10 that tied into the story line loosely.

Fortnite Native Locations: Where and how to Harvest Buses and RVs in native Fortnite locations

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Here’s what the native Fortnite locations are on the Fortnite chapter 2 season 4 map.

It’s your final chance to get a bundle of XP in Fortnite chapter 2 season 4 with the final set of challenges releasing for the season. This is the week 14 challenges, also known as XP Xtravaganza week 4 challenges and similar to the previous 3 weeks of Xtravaganza challenges, players have to complete a number of staged challenges.

One of the challenges for week 14 that aren’t a staged challenge is harvest buses and RVs in native Fortnite locations. It seems Epic have attempted to add in some challenges this week that somewhat relate to the live event that’ll take place next week.

v14.60 Fortnite Patch Notes Update

The Fortnite battle bus has been upgraded throughout the season with the final change coming after the v14.60 Fortnite update. Epic even teased the inside of the battle bus in a tweet promoting the Galactus live event.

For those of you that don’t know what native Fortnite locations are, we’ve got you covered with a quick guide.

Fortnite Native Locations – Harvest Buses and RVs

Native locations in Fortnite are locations that have been on the map since the first chapter. That means that these are the current Fortnite native locations on the chapter 2 season 4 map:

  • Salty Springs
  • Retail Row
  • Risky Reels

There’s a slim chance that Doom’s Domain will work. It’s still pretty much what Pleasant Park was in chapter 1 with some changes to the popular location here and there.

There’s only one bus as far as I’m aware Retail Row and here’s where you can find it:

There aren’t any bus or RV locations in Salty Springs as far as I remember, so there isn’t much point in using that location. Risky Reels isn’t a named location, but is still a native Fortnite location, so the location should work.

If that’s the case, it’s easily the best option to complete this challenge as the whole location is full of RVs and busses. Here’s the location of Risky Reels on the Fortnite chapter 2 season 4 map:

That’s all for this challenge, have fun!

Fortnite Boogie Before Oblivion – How to Complete the Boogie Challenge

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Here is how to complete the boogie before oblivion Week 14 Fortnite Battle Royale Challenge for Week 4 of the XP Xtravaganza Challenges.

There are new challenges being released every week in Fortnite Battle Royale and we are now in Week 14 of Chapter 2, Season 4. The past few weeks, Epic have been releasing XP Xtravaganza challenges instead of the normal challenges to help players to get as much XP as possible to level up in this seasons Battle Pass.

One of the challenges for the Week 4 XP Xtravaganza Challenges is to ‘boogie before oblivion’. This can be a confusing challenge to complete if you do not know what to do, but this article will show you exactly how to complete it.

Fortnite Challenge Boogie Before Oblivion

Oblivion means “the act or process of dying out; complete annihilation or extinction.” So in order to complete this challenge, you will need to be eliminated. There are a couple of ways in which you can complete this challenge and you will need a Boogie Bomb to complete it.

Fortnite Battle Royale Boogie Bomb

Boogie Bombs can be found pretty much anywhere, i.e in chests, floor loot, vaults, care packages, so it should be quite easy to find.

Once you have a Boogie Bomb, you will need to build a ramp high enough that once you fall off it, you will die by fall damage. Before falling to your death, you will need to use the Boogie Bomb on yourself so you are dancing and then simply walk off the ramp whilst dancing to complete the challenge.

Another way to complete the challenge will be to use a Boogie Bomb before being eliminated by an opponent. Either way will complete the challenge and you will only need to do it once to be granted the XP.

UPDATE: It appears as though you only need to dance once you land from the Battle Bus to complete the challenge, so it’s extremely easy to complete!

The season is drawing to an end so make sure you complete all of your challenges to claim all the rewards from the Battle Pass as they won’t be available after.
