Fortnite Where to Collect Triple S Sneakers in the Strange Times Featured Hub

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Here’s where to find and collect Triple S Sneakers in the Strange Times Featured Hub.

We already have a collaboration in Fortnite chapter 2 season 8. The Fortnite x Balenciaga was leaked yesterday before Epic Games made an official announcement through a blog post. The collaboration includes item shop cosmetics and quests.

We have 2 quests/challenges to complete and each provides a Balenciaga cosmetic reward. Unfortunately, both the free rewards are sprays that will likely go unused by most but it’s better than nothing.

One of the challenges requires players to collect Triple S Sneakers in the Strange Times Featured Hub. Here’s a quick guide on how you can complete this challenge as quickly as possible.

How to Enter the Strange Times Featured Hub & Creative Code

In order to get into the Strange Times featured hub, click on the game mode above the “play” button in the lobby, you’ll then see the options including different modes for Battle Royale.

On the right side you should see the “creative” option. Click Creative and press play. You’ll join the Strange Times features hub and you’ll be able to collect the Triple S sneakers in order to complete the challenge. The code for the featured hub is 9106-1254-1261.

In order to complete this challenge, players need to collect a total of 40 Triple S Sneakers in the Strange Times featured hub. It’s easy to complete this challenge as players can run around the featured hub and find the Triple S sneakers in the Balenciaga store as well as on the tables and other objects in the hub.

Here’s what the Triple S sneakers look like in-game:

They’ll glow as shown above and once you collect one of the sneakers, you’ll get a larger golden glow to show you’ve collected them. You won’t be able to collect all 40 Triple S sneakers in one go. You’ll need to back out and load back in and collect the sneakers from the same place.

Fortnite Birthday 2021 Challenges & Rewards

We’ve always had challenges to complete during these events and the 2021 Fortnite Birthday event is no different. The blog post didn’t mention what the challenges are, but we know what they are thanks to data-miners leaking them from the new files added at the start of the season.

Epic did however list the free cosmetic rewards that can be unlocked during the event which we’ve listed below:

  • 4 Me??? Back Bling

We’ll be releasing guides for the birthday quests once they go live in three days time. Be sure to check back on September 24th for a guide on how to complete each quest.

New Fortnite Update Today Patch Notes – Armored Walls (September 21 2021)

Reading Time: 2 minutes

We have a new hotfix Fortnite update today (21st September, 2021) for the v18.00 build.

It’s been over a week since the launch of Fortnite chapter 2 season 8. We’ve had a maintenance patch update since then that was released a few days ago to address some issues with the stability of the game on all platforms.

We’ve also already had our first collaboration of the new season with the Balenciaga x Fortnite that includes cosmetics that were released in the item shop last night as well as challenges that will provide players with two different sprays. Those challenges will go live today at 3 PM BST.

We now have our first content of the new season with the release of the v18.00 hotfix Fortnite update today. Epic Games have released a blog post outlining the changes and additions in today’s new update. Here’s everything you need to know about today’s update on September 21st, 2021.

v18.00 Hotfix New Fortnite Update Patch Notes

The v18.00 hotfix brings in a brand new item to the game, the Armored Walls. This new item allows players to build with the armored walls automatically attached. This will make destroying walls a lot harder and the item is considered a trap. We don’t have any other information from the patch notes, but we’ll cover this more in-depth in a separate article.

If you weren’t aware, players can cast votes at donation boards in order unvault a weapon. Players can choose between the Shockwave Launcher of the Rift-To-Go. Players can now vote on this and when an item gets 100% funded, it’ll return from the vault.

The patch notes also included information on Fortnite’s birthday. We’ll be covering this in a separate post, so stay tuned for that! As with previous seasons, players will be able to get their hands on free birthday cosmetics by completing challenges.

Balenciaga x Fortnite Collab – Challenges, Rewards, Skins, Release Date

Reading Time: 3 minutes

There’s a Balenciaga x Fortnite collaboration coming soon including quests and free rewards.

We’re a week into Fortnite chapter 2 season 8. Players have mixed opinions on the season so far, but judging by the amount of builds for the next Fortnite update, v18.10, there’s a lot to look forward to.

There was a cube activation yesterday with the gold cube whilst the other cubes continue to move around the map. We’ll likely see POIs destroyed or created from these cubes as the season progresses.

Whilst we wait on more changes with the cubes, we have a new collaboration. Data-miners have leaked the Balenciaga x Fortnite collaboration that will include new skins, challenges, and free rewards. Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite x Balenciaga collab.

Balenciaga Fortnite Skins

There’s a few Balenciaga Fortnite skins that have been leaked by data-miners after they were decrypted. Here are the skin names:

  • Unchained Ramirez Fortnite Skin
  • Fashion Banshee
  • Game Knight
  • Shady Doggo

There are other cosmetics too. Here’s the full list of the Balenciaga Fortnite cosmetics:

  • Logo Lugger Back Bling
  • Skate Pocker Duffle Back Bling
  • Everyday Sleekpack Back Bling
  • Camo Carrier Back Bling
  • The Look emote
  • Parasail Purser Glider
  • Speed Sneaker Pickaxe

Here’s an image with all of the cosmetics:

Fortnite Balenciaga Challenges / Quests & Rewards

The collab includes two different challenges / quests that players can complete which we’ve added below:

  • Emote in front of Shady Doggo graffiti at Retail Row, Sweaty Sands, or Steamy Stacks (1)
  • Collect Triple S sneakers in the Strange Times Featured Hub (4)

The free rewards aren’t the greatest but they’re better than nothing. For completing the first challenge, you’ll get the Fashion Doggo spray. Complete the second challenge and you’ll get the Knight Looks spray. It looks like there isn’t any season 8 XP upon completing these challenges unfortunately.

Release Date

We’re not sure when this collaboration will go live, but we’re guessing it will go live today with an announcement on the official Fortnite website. We’re basing this on the fact that the cosmetics, challenges and rewards were decrypted today. Cosmetics are usually decrypted on the same day they’re released.

We should see the above listed Fortnite Balenciaga Skins and other cosmetics in the shop tonight when the item shop resets. However, we’ll update this when we have an official announcement with a release date from Epic Games.

Carnage Symbiote – Where is Mythic Venom & Carnage in Fortnite and where to find the Symbiote

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Here’s everything you need to know about the Mythic Venom & Carnage Symbiote in Fortnite chapter 2 season 8 including where to find it.

We’re a few days into Fortnite chapter 2 season 8 and from what we’ve seen, there are mixed reviews for the season. Whilst there were some map changes this season, it appears as though some players are unhappy with the lack of map changes with season launches over the past year.

Furthermore, players are unhappy with the challenge system. The legendary and epic quests have been removed and the NPC quest lines have taken their place. We’ll get one new NPC added to the map each week along with their quest line. That means players can only level up once by completing these challenges.

However, there are some positives from this season. It seems like we’ll be getting more content throughout the season in comparison to previous seasons. We also have the Venom and Carnage Symbiote mythic items in Fortnite season 8. Here’s everything you need to know about them.

Carnage Symbiote in Fortnite

The Fortnite Carnage symbiote will spawn in each new zone once the storm moves in. There’s no exact spawn location where you can find and get the Carnage symbiote. However, you will see it on the mini map and it’ll appear as a canister in-game. Here’s what it looks like:

Carnage Symbiote Fortnite

Having the Carnage symbiote will allow players to deal 60 damage with the grab attack and will pull enemies closer. There’s a cooldow of 10 seconds between each attack. Players also have glider re-deploy and increased speed.

Here’s a look at it in action:

Venom Symbiote Fortnite Mythic Item

The Venom Symbiote in Fortnite is exactly the same as the Carnage one. It will also appear on the mini map and will spawn in each zone. The damage, speed, and glider re-deploy features are the same, the only difference is the look. The canister for the Venom Fortnite symbiote is blue instead of red.

There’s an encrypted Venom Fortnite glider and players now know what it looks like as the re-deploy feature with the Venom Symbiote showcases the glider. Here’s a look at the glider below:

New Fortnite Update Today v3.31 – September 16 2021 Patch Notes

Reading Time: 2 minutes

We have a brand new Fortnite update today (September 16th, 2021). Here are the patch notes.

Epic Games launched Fortnite chapter 2 season 8 on Monday with some map changes, a new Battle Pass and new features. Since the update, there have been a few issues with the v18.00 patch including performance stability issues along with issues with some of the quests.

Some of the bugs including players not getting a weapon after searching a chest in competitive and the mounted turret have been fixed. However, we still have issues with the Sideways Anomalies which are still disabled along with Mounted Turret construction sites not displaying the correct progress.

Epic have just released a maintenance patch update on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Android. Here’s everything you need to know about the update.

Fortnite September 16 Update Patch Notes

Unfortunately, there’s no new content in today’s new Fortnite update which makes sense considering we had a new season drop this week. This is a maintenance update that addresses stability issues, issues with the mounted turret construction sites not displaying the current progress, and creative key binds resetting to default.

There’s no downtime for this update but players will need to download the new files in order to launch the game. The file size on PC is 188 MB. We’ll update this with the file size on other platforms as soon as we can.

September 16th New Fortnite Update
September 16th New Fortnite Update

Although this has been pushed to PS4, PS5, PC, and Android so far, the update will go live for Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles later on. We’ll be sure to update you when it goes live on those two platforms.

According to data-miners, the v18.10 is being worked on and the build size is larger than the v18.00 update. That means we should see a lot of new content and possibly features in the upcoming Fortnite update.
