Carnage Symbiote – Where is Mythic Venom & Carnage in Fortnite and where to find the Symbiote

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Here’s everything you need to know about the Mythic Venom & Carnage Symbiote in Fortnite chapter 2 season 8 including where to find it.

We’re a few days into Fortnite chapter 2 season 8 and from what we’ve seen, there are mixed reviews for the season. Whilst there were some map changes this season, it appears as though some players are unhappy with the lack of map changes with season launches over the past year.

Furthermore, players are unhappy with the challenge system. The legendary and epic quests have been removed and the NPC quest lines have taken their place. We’ll get one new NPC added to the map each week along with their quest line. That means players can only level up once by completing these challenges.

However, there are some positives from this season. It seems like we’ll be getting more content throughout the season in comparison to previous seasons. We also have the Venom and Carnage Symbiote mythic items in Fortnite season 8. Here’s everything you need to know about them.

Carnage Symbiote in Fortnite

The Fortnite Carnage symbiote will spawn in each new zone once the storm moves in. There’s no exact spawn location where you can find and get the Carnage symbiote. However, you will see it on the mini map and it’ll appear as a canister in-game. Here’s what it looks like:

Having the Carnage symbiote will allow players to deal 60 damage with the grab attack and will pull enemies closer. There’s a cooldow of 10 seconds between each attack. Players also have glider re-deploy and increased speed.

Here’s a look at it in action:

Venom Symbiote Fortnite Mythic Item

The Venom Symbiote in Fortnite is exactly the same as the Carnage one. It will also appear on the mini map and will spawn in each zone. The damage, speed, and glider re-deploy features are the same, the only difference is the look. The canister for the Venom Fortnite symbiote is blue instead of red.

There’s an encrypted Venom Fortnite glider and players now know what it looks like as the re-deploy feature with the Venom Symbiote showcases the glider. Here’s a look at the glider below:

New Fortnite Update Today v3.31 – September 16 2021 Patch Notes

Reading Time: 2 minutes

We have a brand new Fortnite update today (September 16th, 2021). Here are the patch notes.

Epic Games launched Fortnite chapter 2 season 8 on Monday with some map changes, a new Battle Pass and new features. Since the update, there have been a few issues with the v18.00 patch including performance stability issues along with issues with some of the quests.

Some of the bugs including players not getting a weapon after searching a chest in competitive and the mounted turret have been fixed. However, we still have issues with the Sideways Anomalies which are still disabled along with Mounted Turret construction sites not displaying the correct progress.

Epic have just released a maintenance patch update on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Android. Here’s everything you need to know about the update.

Fortnite September 16 Update Patch Notes

Unfortunately, there’s no new content in today’s new Fortnite update which makes sense considering we had a new season drop this week. This is a maintenance update that addresses stability issues, issues with the mounted turret construction sites not displaying the current progress, and creative key binds resetting to default.

There’s no downtime for this update but players will need to download the new files in order to launch the game. The file size on PC is 188 MB. We’ll update this with the file size on other platforms as soon as we can.

September 16th New Fortnite Update

Although this has been pushed to PS4, PS5, PC, and Android so far, the update will go live for Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles later on. We’ll be sure to update you when it goes live on those two platforms.

According to data-miners, the v18.10 is being worked on and the build size is larger than the v18.00 update. That means we should see a lot of new content and possibly features in the upcoming Fortnite update.

Where is Mount F8 in Fortnite – Find Bottles of Stone Grey on Mount F8

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Here’s the location of Mount F8 in Fortnite chapter 2 season 8 in order to find the bottles of Stone Grey.

Alien Artifacts were introduced last season. Collecting them would unlock different customizable options for the Kymera skin. Now we have a new season, the artifacts have been removed and been replaced with two different objects.

Players need to collect both rainbow ink and color bottles. The color bottles are found at specific locations mentioned when you view the color system for the Toona Fish skin. The rainbow ink is found in chests, although there isn’t a 100% chance you’ll get them from chests.

In order to unlock the stone grey style for Toona Fish, players need to find bottles of stone grey on Mount F8. Mount F8 has been used for many different challenges since the launch of chapter 2. However, it’s had a name change this season and players have been wondering where Mount F8 is in Fortnite.

We’ve created a quick guide to help you find the location of where Mount F8 is in Fortnite season 8 along with where the three stone grey bottles are located.

Where is Mount F8 in Fortnite Season 8?

The Mount F8 Fortnite location is on the south side of the map. It’s south of Misty Meadows and we’ve highlighted the location on the map below.

Fortnite chapter 2 season 8 launched yesterday with a brand new Battle Pass, map changes, and new features including being able to vote to unvault a weapon or item. We also have some changes to the challenge system along with the return of punch cards.

Instead of collecting Alien Artifacts, this season players need to collect both color bottles and rainbow ink to unlock style options for the Toona Fish Fortnite skin. Players can change the color of the skin or make it look more like other skins.

One of the challenges for Toona Fish require players to find bottles of Robotic Grey in Destroyed Dish. Here’s the location of Destroyed Dish along with where the bottles are located.

Where is Destroyed Dish in Fortnite?

New Fortnite seasons always bring map changes. Some players aren’t happy with the lack of map changes this season, but we’ll likely get a brand new map when chapter 3 launches.

With the map changes, players likely won’t know where Destroyed Dish is located on the Fortnite chapter 2 season 8 map. You’ll find it west of Dirty Docks at the location outlined on the map below.

It’s easy to find the Robotic Grey bottles at this location as they should appear on your mini map. They’re quite close together and you’ll see the glow from the Robotic Grey bottles from far.

However, here are the locations of the Robotic Grey bottles:

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Here’s where you can find IO Guards in Fortnite chapter 2 season 8.

We have a new season of Fortnite Battle Royale with the release of Fortnite chapter 2 season 8. As with the launch of every season, we have some map changes and new NPCs found around the map.

The spawns for objects have changed and players are looking to find out where they now spawn. We have some changes to the challenge system as well as the return of punch cards and quest lines.

One of the quests for Charlotte require players to eliminate IO Guards in Fortnite chapter 2 season 8. However, the IO Guards no longer spawn at the large IO bases like we saw in season 7. However, we know some of the locations where you can find and eliminate IO Guards in Fortnite season 8.

IO Guards Fortnite Season 8 Spawn Locations

It seems like a large number of players are searching for where they can find and eliminate IO Guards in the new season. It looks like we have a number of small IO bases where you’ll find guards. There’s usually at least two guards at the locations we’ve found, but with the amount of players heading to these locations to complete the challenge, there’s a chance they’ll be eliminated before you get there.

One of the season 8 spawn locations for IO Guards is east of Pleasant Park. Here’s the exact location on the map:

These bases are made of metal and are usually only two stories high. Here’s what it looks like in-game:

There’s another base where you can find IO Guards in Season 8 and it’s located northwest of Lazy Lake. Here’s the map location:

We’ll update this if we find any more locations where you can find and eliminate the guards this season.

There were new Alien Artifacts added on a weekly basis which players could then collect and choose which customizations they wanted to unlock.

This season, there is a Toona Fish Skin you can unlock on the first page of the Battle Pass for 9 Battle Stars and you will then see there is an option in the Battle Pass tab for you to ‘Pain a Toona Fish’.
