Reading Time: 2 minutes

Epic Games have announced a new Fortnite update, v15.50. Here’s everything we know.

We’re two weeks away from Fortnite chapter 2 season 6 with the current season expected to end on March 16th. We don’t have any information on the new season yet, but we should see teasers release for the new season a few days before it starts.

We’ve had four major Fortnite updates this season, but most of the updates have only brought in new exotic weapons to the game. Epic Games have just announced the final Fortnite update of the season, v15.50. Here’s everything you need to know.

New Fortnite Update v15.50

The Fortnite Status Twitter account tweeted out that the v15.50 Fortnite update will be released tomorrow, March 2nd. Server Downtime will start at 9 AM UTC (4 AM ET). There’s no information regarding how long the Fortnite servers will be down for, but we’d assume they’ll be down for at least an hour or two. As soon as the Fortnite servers are back up, we’ll update this post.

Patch Notes

Unfortunately, it’s looking like there won’t be new content in the v15.50 Fortnite update. The Fortnite Status Twitter account have stated what changes are coming in the update, and it looks like there’s only two major changes.

The Hand Cannon will be heading back to the vault while another item returns. However, we don’t know what that item is. There’s also a new island size in creative and localized featured hub support. It looks like there won’t be anything else apart in the update.

Leaks

As with every major Fortnite update, there will be leaks from the new files. We should see a few more Fortnite skins and other cosmetics. We’ll know from the update whether there will be a live event at the end of the season as they’ll be added to the files. We’ll be covering all the leaks and news from the update.

A Lazarbeam Fortnite Skin Could be Coming to the Icon Series

Reading Time: 2 minutes

We could be getting a Lazarbeam Fortnite skin soon.

Epic Games have collaborated with a number of different companies through the years including Marvel, DC, and a number of different games this season including Halo and God of War. There’s also been collaborations with music artists including Marshmello and Travis Scott.

Players are eagerly awaiting the return of the Travis Scott skin after data-miners stated the featured image has been updated to match the new item shop design. Epic introduced the Icon Series last year in January when the Ninja Fortnite skin made it’s way into the Fortnite Item Shop.

Since then, we’ve had other popular Fortnite content creators get their very own skin in the game including Loserfruit, Lachlan, and TheGrefg.

It looks like we could be getting a Lazarbeam Fortnite Icon Series skin reveal today. Here’s what you need to know.

Lazarbeam Skin

Lannan Eacott, known as Lazarbeam, is an Australian YouTuber with over 18 million subscribers. We could be getting a Lazarbeam Fortnite skin as the popular YouTuber creator has a stream scheduled for 10 PM GMT called “my Fortnite skin reveal”.

According to data-miners, the Lazarbeam Fortnite skin reveal is 2 minutes and 25 seconds, which suggests that this isn’t a troll video and he will indeed reveal a Lazarbeam Fortnite skin during the video. There aren’t any skin files for Lazarbeam right now, but we should be getting the final update of Fortnite season 5 this week, v15.50.

If he does actually announce his own Icon Series Fortnite skin, it should be added in the next update and will likely be released later this week. There’s also a chance that we get a tournament with the release of the skin similar to what we saw with the Lachlan skin.

If there are any new updates, we will keep you updated.

Epic Games have just announced the Batman Fortnite Zero Point collaboration with DC. Fortnite Zero Point is a six-issue mini series that’ll debut in print and digitally on April 20th. The print issues will include bonus codes in them that’ll allow players to unlock Fortnite in-game cosmetics.

The first issues of Fortnite x DC Zero Point will provide players with a new Rebirth Harley Quinn Fortnite skin. Before anyone is wondering, this is not a variant of the current Harley Quinn Fortnite skin, it’s a brand new skin that’s available exclusively through this collaboration.

Rebirth Harley Quinn Fortnite Skin

We already know what the Rebirth Harley Quinn Fortnite skin will look like as it’s the first skin that’ll be available in the first print. Here’s a look at what the skin looks like:

Those of you that get all six issues printed, you’ll receive the Armored Batman Zero Fortnite skin. You’ll need to redeem all six codes you can with each print. There’s no image of what the skin will look like, but we’ll likely see the skin a few weeks before it’s available to redeem.

Each print provides players with bonus digital codes. We know the first issue will provide players with the Harley Quinn skin, but we don’t know the other DC-themed Fortnite items that’ll be made available with the other issues that are released.

Data-miners have leaked the upcoming Fortnite Alien skin along with the Ripley skin.

The last set of “hunter” Fortnite skins we got were the Ryu and Chun-Li Fortnite skins from Street Fighter. We’ve had a number of game characters make their way into Fortnite since chapter 2 season 5 began including Kratos, Master Chief, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and more.

We’ve seen a leak suggesting that we could be getting a Family Guy Peter Griffin skin, but there’s no confirmation that the collaboration which actually make it’s way into the game. In the last update, there were hunter skin files that were added and decrypted.

Alien Fortnite Skin

Prior to each hunter skin going live, a portal opens that provides a hint as to what the next skin will be. A few hours later, Epic Games post a reality log from Agent Jonesy to provide further clues as to what the new skin(s) will be.

This time around, Xenomorph from Alien will be coming to the game along with a Ripley Fortnite skin. Here’s a look at the new skins:

As always, there’s no information in regards to when the new Alien Fortnite skin will be coming to the item shop. However, we’d assume it’ll be available either tomorrow, Friday 26th or on Saturday. After these two skins are released, it appears as though there will be only one new hunter skin that we’ll see released before the end of Fortnite chapter 2 season 5 in the middle of March.

Let us know in the comments section below if you’ll be picking up the Xenomorph or Ripley Fortnite skins.

You can find a server in Fortnite on the furthest building to the west at Hunter’s Haven. Enter the building marked below, make your way all the way down the building and you’ll find a server there to scan.
