Fortnite Razor Crest: Where and how to visit the Razor Crest The Mandalorian Beksar Challenge

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Here is where the Razor Crest location is in Fortnite in order to complete the “Visit the Razor Crest” Beksar Mandalorian challenge.

We’re officially into Fortnite chapter 2 season 5. Season 4 ended with the Galactus Devourer of Worlds live event. After the event, Fortnite wasn’t playable as Epic Games prepped the servers for the release of the new season.

The server downtime began at 12 AM ET and ended just after 4 AM ET. The game is now playable and there’s a bunch of new map changes including the return of Tilted Towers (somewhat), new weapons, and much more.

As with every new season of Fortnite, we also have brand new challenges/quests to complete. If i’m honest, I’m a little confused with the challenges. I’m not sure if the quests you can see are weekly challenges or simply quests. There’s limited time quests and other quests, but I can’t tell if these are the week 1 challenges.

However, what I do know is that there’s already a challenge for The Mandalorian Fortnite skin. These challenges, known as Beksar challenges, unlock extra armor pieces for The Mandalorian.

The first challenge unlock the right shoulder piece for the Mandalorian and players need to visit the Razor Crest. Here’s the location where you’ll find it.

Where is the Razor Crest Fortnite Location

There’s a hint provided for the challenge which is “hm. Cargo went flying. Better track it down”. There’s also another hint when you see the challenge in the lobby which reads “Landing was a little rough. Better check the Razor Crest”.

When the Fortnite servers were down, players were posting images of the map and one user posted an image of The Mandalorian’s ship crashed. I noticed the green bridge in the background and instantly knew the location of the Razor Crest.

You’ll find it north of Lazy lake, and south east of the new location with the ‘???’ marked on the map. Here’s the exact location of the Razor Crest on the Fortnite season 5 map:

In order to complete the challenge, simply jump on the Razor Crest as seen below and you’ll complete the challenge.

As soon as that’s done, the challenge will have been completed.

Fortnite season 5 is sure to be the best season in chapter 2. An Ice Raider starter pack has been leaked along with Christmas Fortnite skins. Titled towers has made a return on the map and there’s a bunch of new weapons, map changes and more.

Fortnite Update Patch Notes v15.00 Season 5 – Bounty System, New Map

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Here’s the unofficial Fortnite patch notes for the launch of Fortnite chapter 2 season 5 (v15.00).

Fortnite season 5 Zero Point is here and it could be one of the best seasons since the launch of chapter 2. Along with a brand new battle pass including The Mandalorian along with a Baby Yoda back bling, we also have new items, massive map changes including the return of Tilted Towers in the form of Salty Towers, and much more.

As of writing, the Fortnite servers are still currently down. That means there’ll be things we’ll need update and possibly change. However, we have enough information to create Fortnite patch notes for today’s Fortnite season 5 v15.00 update.

Fortnite Season 5 Trailer

Let’s dig in and take a look and everything that today’s new Fortnite update brings including map changes, new weapons, vaulted weapons and more.

Bug Fixes

Every new Fortnite update comes with some bug fixes, especially new seasons. However, we always see brand new bugs added to the game during season launches. These will be patched within the next couple of weeks along with any server and performance issues that arise.

It looks like there aren’t that many bug fixes in today’s v15.00 Fortnite update. Here’s what we have so far from the Trello board:

  • Huntress Outfit appearing as Ramirez or another Outfit.
  • Impossible to bind the same key to different actions with Keyboard.
  • Bash Burner Pickaxe temporarily disabled in competitive playlists.

New Map – Salty Towers, Stealthy Stronghold, Colossal Coliseum, Hunter’s Haven

We have a lot of map changes for Fortnite chapter 2 season 5. Tilted Towers has made a glorious return and merged with Salty Springs, hence the name Salty Towers. Here’s a quick look at what the new Tilted Towers looks like:

Other new Fortnite map locations include Stealthy Stronghold which can be found on the north west side of the map, Colossal Coliseum near Salty Towers, and Hunter’s Haven near Lazy Lake.

New Weapons

We have two brand new Fortnite season 5 weapons in the form of the Dragons Breath Shotgun and the Amban Sniper Rifle. The Dragons Breath Shotgun shoots all four bullets at once and has some impressive damage stats. The Amban Sniper Rifle can double up as a melee weapon. We have a dedicated article to the new weapons here.

Vaulted & Unvaulted weapons

It wouldn’t be a new Fortnite season without some huge changes to the meta from the previous season. The pump shotgun has been vaulted along with the revolver, legendary combat shotgun, scar, legendary bolt-action rifle and more. Take a look at the full list here.

New Items

There’s a bunch of new items in today’s Fortnite update for season 5 (v15.00) including new floppers, a shadow tracker, bounty board and more. We’ll definitely cover some of these individually for more depth. However, here’s the new items:

    • Tiger Zero Fish
    • Leafy Zero Fish
    • Skull Zero Fish
    • Rift-To-Go Flopper

Bounty System

As we mentioned before, we’re writing this before the servers are back up. However, from leaks we know there’s a brand new bounty system. This new feature includes a bounty board which can be seen below.

Fortnite Bounty Board
Fortnite Bounty Board

This is something we’ll need to wait for the servers to come back online to learn more about the Fortnite bounty system. We’ll have a dedicated article for this, but here’s the official description of the system:

As hunters, it is your duty to help the characters of the island in this new reality. Accept their missions and contracts, obtain information in the surroundings or hire them as allies. Don’t you want to negotiate? Challenge them to a duel and collect the rewards“.

New Battle Pass

A brand new season of Fortnite also bring a new battle pass. We have some epic skins including a Mandalorian and Anime skin. But that’s not all, we also have a Baby Yoda back bling that’ll float behind you and follow you around. For the full breakdown of the Fortnite season 5 battle pass, go here.

Fortnite Season 5 Storyline Thickens

Reading Time: 4 minutes

It looks like there will be more to the storyline in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5, according to leaks.

In Fortnite, there have been different storylines in previous seasons which have been somewhat confusing and do not appear to be linked. Donald Mustard, the Worldwide Creative Director at Epic Games, tweeted, “It’s ALL connected. Pay attention. The story is about to kick into overdrive…”

This suggests that there will be more of a story being told in Fortnite Battle Royale which will likely be told over the course of Season 5 with the new bounty challenges and map changes that will likely occur. Dataminers have also found threads which show that characters are starting to remember parts of their past and where they came from.

Here are all of the threads for the characters found in the files so far:

  • After E.G.O.’s collapse, Remedy became a freelance medic who uses her unparalleled medical abilities on the battlefield to even the scales. She’s got a strong survival instinct and an even stronger sense of justice.
Fortnite v11.10 Leaked Skin - Bushranger

  • Bushranger has no idea how he ended up on the island, but he knows that none of the other trees are quite like him. Until he can find his way home, he’s happy to live off the land and off the beaten path.
  • Fishstick knows that he left his pond for a reason… a reason which he’ll definitely remember soon. He swears he was once a warrior of Atlantis, he just doesn’t remember where he left his armor, either.
  • Kyle has dedicated his life to following The Way Of The Lumberjack. He’ll happily share his secrets with you if you can prove that you’re also a friend of the Way.
Longshot and Insight Fortnite Leaked Skins

  • Longshot’s perfect aim and incredible patience make him a terrific wildlife photographer, but that skill isn’t as handy here. These days he’s mostly looking for work as a sniper instead.
  • No one’s sure whose side Brite Bomber is on – if anyone’s – but wherever she goes, hyper-colorful chaos seems to follow. Befriend with caution, because there’s more to her sunshine and rainbows than meets the eye.
  • One of E.G.O.’s top survivalists, Turk is on the trail of The Big One: the fish that he believes will net him the title of Top Fisherman. He especially wants to beat his rival and fellow commando, Outcast. Also this is for the bounty board.
Fortnite v12.10 Leaked Skin - Farmer Steel

  • Part farmer. Part tractor-based robot. All vengeance. Farmer Steel knows that the varmints who wrecked his fields are still out there, and he’s not gonna rest until he finds them.
  • Reese was an orphan who learned early that you can either hunt… or be hunted. She chose the former and dedicated her life to being the universe’s greatest hunter.
  • Relentless. Ruthless. The Reaper stops at nothing to get his prey. If you can track him down he might have some bounties to share… if he isn’t already hunting YOU.
New Splode Fortnite Skin and Shrapnel Pickaxe

  • Splode never met a question that couldn’t be answered with explosions. Currently on the run after escaping a high-security prison, he’s determined to sow as much chaos as he can before they catch him again.
  • The daughter of wealthy socialites, Rapscallion became a thief just for the thrill of it. She’s got dozens of heists under her belt and is always looking for new members for her crew… Just make sure you watch your wallet.
  • The masked racer known only as ”Burnout” is as mysterious as he is undefeated on the racetrack. Try to keep up with him at your own peril, and if you’re ever lucky enough to see his face… keep it to yourself.
  • The son of a legendary secret agent, Kit is a pint-size robotics genius who has vowed to use his skills to fight the forces of evil just like his dad.
  • This camera-shy forest-dweller doesn’t have much use for civilization and would rather just be left alone. When he’s not evading documentation he loves a good game of solitaire.
  • This very good boy loves car rides, tummy scratches, and second helpings. He’s not great with cats, but so long as they give each other space there shouldn’t be any problems.

  • If you ask Tomatohead, Durr Burger is nothing but a bunch of tyrants. Beneath his humble uniform beats the heart of a warrior who won’t rest until Pizza has claimed its rightful place as the best fast food.

In the trailer for Season 5, we could hear the person on the phone say, “Do not draw the attention of the Seven”. We could finally find out who the Seven are by the end of the season!

Who’s excited to see what this season will bring?

There’s an Anime Girl Fortnite skin “Lexa” & Players Are Delighted

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Epic Games have finally added a Fortnite Anime skin and players are losing their sh*t.

Fortnite season 4 ended with the conclusion of the Fortnite Galactus event which saw players shooting laser beams at Galactus drones for the better half of the event. Since then, the game has been unplayable due to Epic prepping for the launch of the new season followed by server downtime which began at 12 AM ET.

With the launch of every new Fortnite season, we get a bunch of new map changes along with a new battle pass. The new map changes include several new named locations along with the return of Tilted Towers with a merger with Salty Springs with a new name “Salty Towers”.

Salty Tilted

The new Battle Pass includes The Mandalorian skin which was leaked a couple of days before the launch of season 5 by Epic Games themselves. We also had a Baby Yoda back bling that’ll hover around behind you and follow you wherever you go.

It’s not much of a surprise to see cosmetics in the battle pass that are part of a collaboration after an entire season based on a Marvel collaboration. However, we do have one surprise skin, an Anime skin called Lexa.

Fortnite Anime Skin Lexa

We’ve seen a variety of different Fortnite skins over the years. Some hideous, others so large they stand out from a mile away. However, Epic Games have never added in an Anime Fortnite skin until today.

There’s a Fortnite anime girl skin in the Battle Pass called Lexa. You can unlock the skin at level 73 and the skin has a bunch of different cosmetics including a pickaxe called Null Claws. Here’s a look at the Lexa Anime Fortnite skin:

Players seem to be delighted with the addition of an Anime skin as seen by a couple of the tweets below:

The good news for Anime fans doesn’t end there. There’s some pretty impressive skin style for Lexa which we’ve included below.

What are your thoughts on the Lexa skin and the skin styles? Let us know in the comments section below.

New Fortnite Season 5 Weapons – Dragons Breath Shotgun, Amban Sniper Rifle, Mandalorian Jetpack

Reading Time: 3 minutes

We have some new Fortnite weapons/guns in season 5 including the Dragons Breath Shotgun and the Amban Sniper Rifle.

With every new Fortnite season, Epic Games change up the meta by unvaulting and vaulting weapons as well as adding brand new Fortnite weapons into the mix. We haven’t seen that many guns or items added in the game since chapter 2 began, especially in comparison to how often we were getting new additions to the meta in chapter 1.

However, with the release of Fortnite chapter 2 season 5, we have new weapons to use. As usual, there seems to be some mythic boss weapons that are essentially guns we’ve seen in Fortnite in the past but with a slight change in appearance along with a nice boost to the original stats.

We also have two brand new weapons, the Dragons Breath Shotgun and the Amban Sniper Rifle. Here’s what we know about the new Fortnite season 5 weapons prior to the serves going live.

Dragons Breath Shotgun Fortnite

The Dragons Breath Shotgun is a weapon that was leaked a long time ago. The name of the gun along with the stats were leaked back in season 4. Here’s what the new Fortnite shotgun looks like:

Fortnite Dragons Breath Shotgun
Fortnite Dragons Breath Shotgun

If the previous stat leaks for this shotgun are still correct, it’ll deal 70-140 body damage, 83-175 damage to the head, a reload time of 4.2 seconds, a clip size of 4, and it’ll fire all 4 bullets per shot and deal splash damage.

It’ll be interesting to see just how powerful this Dragons Breath Shotgun is. There’s no doubt we’ll see some changes to the stats of this weapon as the season moves forward based on player feedback.

Amban Sniper Rifle Fortnite

Fornite Amban Sniper Rifle
Fornite Amban Sniper Rifle

We have a brand new sniper rifle weapon in Fortnite Season 5! The weapon is called Amban Sniper Rifle and we don’t know the stats of the weapon prior to the new season officially launching.

We do have a description of this weapon though which states the weapon can also be used as a melee weapon. Again, we have no official stats of the weapon, but we’d assume this could be a two hit elimination as a melee weapon.

The description of the weapon is “Bring ’em in warm, or bring ’em in cold. This capable sniper rifle can also be used as a melee weapon”.

Mandalorian Fortnite Jetpack

We also have ourselves a Mandalorian jetpack in Fortnite. This will undoubtedly replace the Stark Industries jetpack we saw added towards the end of season 4. There’s no stats or information on this yet, but we’d assume it’ll work exactly like the previous jetpack.

Fortnite v15.00 Christmas Skins Leaked – Gingerbread Renegade Raider, Codename E.L.F. H.E.L.P.E.R.

Reading Time: 3 minutes

A new Fortnite skin has been leaked from the v15.00 files, Gingerbread Renegade Raider.

After the Galactus Fortnite live event, chapter 2 season 4 ended. The game was is unplayable since the event until server downtime ends which began at 12 AM ET and is expected to end at 4 AM ET.

As with all major updates, data-miners have downloaded the new update and began looking through the files to see everything new that’s been added to the files including new challenges, weapons, map locations and more.

New Fortnite cosmetics have also been leaked from today’s v15.00 Fortnite update. There’s not a lot of new cosmetics in the files, but there’s a brand new Fortnite Christmas skin as well as two new skin styles for existing skins.

Gingerbread Raider Fortnite Skin

We covered a leak in October which suggested a Gingerbread Renegade Raider Fortnite skin would be coming in Fortnite season 5. It turns out the leak was correct. In today’s v15.00 update, data-miners leaked the official Gingerbread Renegade Raider skin which can be seen below.

Gingerbread Renegade Raider Skin

The skin is of rare rarity with the description “let the festives begin”. We’ll likely see this release on the first day of the Winterfest 2020 Christmas event.

Frost Squad

Another Winter-themed skin of rare rarity with the description “Ice cold tactics. Ice cold fashion”.

Snowmando

An Epic snowman skin with the following description, “He’s holly, he’s jolly, and he’s ready to rumble”.

Fa-La-La-La-Fishstick

It wouldn’t be a new season of Fortnite without a brand new fishstick skin now would it? This is a separate skin and not a skin style. It’s of rare rarity with the description “Koi to the world”.

Codename E.L.F. (H.E.L.P.E.R.) Blue Skin Style

For those of you that have the Codename E.L.F. skin, you’ll be happy to know Epic have added in a free skin style called H.E.L.P.E.R. and gives the Christmas skin a new color, blue. Take a look at the skin style below.

Fortnite Servers Downtime: Status and is Fortnite shutting down, Season 5 Launch

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Fortnite has entered downtime after the Galactus Fortnite live event. Here’s when the Fortnite servers will be back up. Fortnite season 5 will launch in a few hours.

The Fortnite “Devourer of Worlds” live event just concluded in what was clearly the best event we’ve ever had. Players have been patiently waiting for this event since Epic Games teased Galactus coming down to the Fortnite map in the Fortnite chapter 2 season 4 cinematic trailer.

We have a full breakdown and a video of what exactly happened during the event which you can take a look at here. What’s more important though is Fortnite season 4 is officially over after the Galactus event.

The season was originally scheduled to end on November 30th, but with the official announcement that the Galactus event was scheduled for today, it was clear that the Epic Games site has listed the wrong end date.

There were leaks suggesting season 4 would end right after the live event as there’d be downtime once the event concluded similar to the black hole.

Fortnite Servers Down

The Fortnite servers are now down and we’re in downtime until the launch of Fortnite chapter 2 season 5. We will keep you updated when the Fortnite servers are back up with a status update, but we should see them up when the countdown ends.

Is Fortnite shutting down?

There appears to be many false reports yet again that Fortnite is shutting down. We saw this after the black hole event and again now. No, Fortnite is not shutting down and the Fortnite servers will be back up once Fortnite season 5 launches.

Fortnite Status

It’s likely the servers be down longer than the countdown shows. It seems like that’s when the update will be available, but the servers will likely be down after that. We’ll keep you updated with the latest status updates to be sure to come back.

Fortnite Galactus “The Devourer of the Worlds” Live Event Recap – Full Video

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Here is a recap of the live Fortnite x Marvel, The Devourer of the Worlds event in case you missed it.

Epic are known for collaborating with big franchises to make Fortnite more exciting, but nothing has quite compared to the collaboration they have done with Marvel this season! Chapter 2, Season 4 was all based on Marvel, with all the cosmetic rewards being Marvel themed and map changes showing more of the Marvel world coming to Fortnite.

This season was longer than most seasons are scheduled to be, but Epic had added new XP Xtravaganza Challenges for every week over week 10 for players to have a better chance of completing the Battle Pass and unlocking the style variants for each Skin.

Fortnite Season 4 Live Event – The Devourer of the Worlds

The live event for the end of this season was called “The Devourer of the Worlds”, which of course relates to Galactus. The description for the mode reads, “Defend the Island to save all Reality!” Approximately one hour before the event, the Save the World mode was disabled and then approximately 45 before the event, the event mode was available and all other modes were removed.

At the start, everyone was placed on the Helicarrier, and then when the timer ran out, Galactus came closer to the carrier and he said, “Beware.. I hunger!” He then knocks the Helicarrier and Iron Man comes and gives a Jetpack to you. Players are told they are have to stop Galactus from getting to the Zero Point and will need to drive a Battle Bus to help.

Fortnite Galactus Live Event
Fortnite Galactus Live Event

Players could then drive the Battle Bus and shoot at the drones to distract Galactus so the other clone Battle Buses could be eaten by Galactus, sending him back to where he came from. Thor and Wolverine both helped to destroy the drones. Galactus then shouted, “This is not possible!” and then was teleported away. We also see a cutscene of the ‘real world’ and we seen Jonesy wake up. What this means, we still do not know for sure.

Here is a full video of what happened in the event:

This is probably the best live events in terms of player interaction that has taken place in Fortnite Battle Royale thus far. Let us know if you managed to get into a match to experience the event yourself and how you would rank this event compared to others in the comments section below.

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5 Skins Leaked – Mandalorian & Baby Yoda in Battle Pass

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Here are all of the Chapter 2, Season 5 Fortnite Skins that have been leaked ahead of the update.

The live event that took place in Fortnite to end Chapter 2, Season 4 was called “The Devourer of the Worlds” and in this event, we saw how Galactus was defeated. Once the live event ended, the countdown for Season 5 started and players cannot currently play Fortnite.

There have been times before the new season starts in Fortnite that there are leaks that show what the featured icon for the game will be, showing some Battle Pass Skins. It looks like dataminers have been able to find an image that shows all Skins that will feature in the Chapter 2, Season 5 Battle Pass, which can be seen below.

Fortnite Season 5 Leaked Mandalorian & Baby Yoda Battle Pass Skins

Since the event, Epic have been releasing some audio logs, which hint at a Jungle biome for the Season 5 map and also what appears to be teasers for the Battle Pass Skins. Now, dataminer @VastBlastt on Twitter has leaked the Battle Pass Skins for the next season, which can be seen below:

Fortnite Season 5 Skins Leaked
Fortnite Season 5 Skins Leaked

As you can see from the image above the Mandalorian will be the main Skin and you can see Baby Yoda by his side. The description for the Mandalorian reads, “After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. ‘The Mandalorian’ is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy, far from the authority of the New Republic”

All the Battle Pass Skins have been leaked and as you can see, they are based on the Star Wars franchise. The Star Wars Mandalorian is linked with Marvel and so the story continues..

There are seven Skins showing in the image and there are usually eight Skins. In the past, the seven Skins are known straight away and the eight was kept a secret, which could be something Epic are bringing back for this season, but only time will tell if there is an eighth Skin.

What do you think of these leaked cosmetics? Let us know in the comments section below.
