There were some rumors from data-miners that Epic Games are working on a female Oro Fortnite skin. However, it’s been a while since those rumors were first posted on Twitter and it looks like we’ll finally be getting a female variant for the Oro skin.

Epic Games posted the following caption along with an image of the Female Oro Fortnite skin from the chest down.

“Pay homage or perish… tomorrow, you decide.”

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Here’s everything you need to know about the Lantern Trails in Fortnite.

Epic Games have always provided players with different ways to get free Fortnite cosmetics. Each holiday event provides players with numerous different free cosmetics that are available once different challenges and quests have been completed.

We’ve also had different trails that are usually limited to different regions. These trials provide players with a few free cosmetics by completing in-game challenges once they’ve signed up to the trails. Rewards usually included free emoticons, sprays, and wraps.

There’s been community quests that require everyone to participate in order to reach a points goal. The Fortnite Autumn Queen’s Quest provided players with the free Falling Leaf Wrap if players managed to achieve 2,500,000,000 points within a certain time frame.

Players could earn points by completing normal in-game actions such as healing teammates with the Bandage Bazooka, reviving a teammate, and playing a match with a friend.

The Fortnite season 6 week 8 challenges are live. There’s seven epic quests along with one legendary quest for players to complete. There’s nothing new with the week 8 challenges, we’ve seen these challenges in previous seasons, some of which have been changed slightly.

Players will need to drive from the Durrr Burger to the Pizza Pit without exiting a vehicle. Here’s some tips on how to complete this challenge as quickly as possible along with the locations of both the Durrr Burger and Pizza Pit in chapter 2 season 6.

A YouTube video and a blog post have been released to explain what Fortnite Wild Weeks is and what players can expect. Here’s a breakdown of the new weekly event.

Wild Weeks Fortnite Week 1

As mentioned, Fortnite Wild Weeks begins today. It’ll last until next Thursday when week 2 will go live when the new weekly quests are released. Each week, a unique gameplay dynamic is emphasized. In week 1, players will notice a number of fire related items and weapons will have greater availability.

In week 1 of Wild Weeks, players will come across more fire related items. Fireflies and flame bows will have a higher spawn rate. Furthermore, fire will now deal more damage and will spread faster than it has done previously.

The Flare Gun Is Back

The Flare gun was added to the game in chapter 2 season 3. However, data-miners actually leaked the weapon back in chapter 1, but for whatever reason Epic decided not to release it until the second chapter of Fortnite Battle Royale had begun.

Flare Gun Fortnite

The Flare Gun in Fortnite is a unique weapon as when shooting it in the air, opponents around you will be marked, allowing you to see exactly what’s going on around you. When fired, it will mark all opponents within a 50m radius for exactly sixty seconds.

Firing the Fortnite Flare Gun at structures will cause them to catch on fire and will deal fire damage. A direct hit on an opponent will deal 60 damage and the Fortnite Flare gun has a reload time of 1.5 seconds with a magazine size of one. Here are the full stats:

The Flare gun can be purchased from Blaze or Raptor for 245 gold bars. However, you’ll only be able to get the Flare Gun until next Thursday. You can also get fireflies from chests for the first time, but again, this will only last until next Thursday.

The next Fortnite Wild Weeks will start on May 13th, May 20th, and June 3rd. There will be more information regarding what each week will entail as we get closer to Thursday.

Fortnite Season 6 Week 8 Challenges

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Here’s a list of all seven Epic quests/challenges that’ll be unlocked tomorrow for Fortnite season 6, week 8.

We’re already approaching week 8 for Fortnite chapter 2 season 6. As usual, we have seven Epic challenges to complete this week alongside one legendary quest/challenge. The epic challenges can be completed at any time during the season and will allow you to unlock more Neymar cosmetics. However, players only have one week to try and complete the legendary quest.

Upon completing an Epic challenge, you’ll be rewarded with 24,000 season 6 xp with a total of 168,000 available each week by completing all the Epic quests. The first stage of a legendary quest will provide 35k XP and 24.5k for each stage after that.

New Fortnite Update Today May 4th v3.15 Patch Notes

Although the Fortnite season 6 week 8 challenges are scheduled to release tomorrow, we know what the challenges are ahead of time with data-miners leaking them from the v16.30 update. Here’s a list of all the Fortnite week 8 challenges.

Fortnite Season 6, Week 8 Challenges

These seven Epic challenges will go live tomorrow, Thursday 6th May at 3 PM GMT.

  • Collect research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park (1)
  • Use launcher from Guardian Towers (3)
  • Open chests at The Spire or Guardian Towers (2)
  • Damage opponent within 10 seconds of landing (1)
  • Use Firefly Jar at the Pizza Pit (1)
  • Drive from Durrr Burger to Pizza Pit without exiting a vehicle (1)

Most of these challenges are fairly straightforward and should be easy to complete. We will be creating guides on any of the challenges we feel will require it. We’ll definitely have a guide for where to collect the research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park.

We’ll also release a guide on the locations of the Durrr Burger and the Pizza Pit just in case you’re not aware of where they’re located on the season 6 map.

It looks like Epic are looking to reignite the war between the Durrr Burger and Pizza Pit, something which has been ongoing since chapter one of Fortnite. Players will need to use a firefly jar at the pizza pit, meaning you’ll need to burn a portion of the location.

Week 8 Legendary Quest

The legendary quest for Fortnite season 6 week 8 requires players to destroy structures with fire. Here are stages for each:

  • Destroy structures with fire (100, 200, 300, 400, 500)

This should be an easy challenge for players to complete. Once you set a structure on fire, it’ll usually spread. It would be best to complete this challenge in team rumble. It’s probably idea to land at a location like Weeping Woods and collect fireflies, something which Weeping Woods as plenty of.

set structures on fire fortnite

Once you’ve got enough, you can start throwing them at the wooden houses that are found in Weeping Woods. We’ve seen challenges with fire not work this season, so hopefully there won’t be any issues with this challenge registering.
